COMMUNITY PARTNERS PROVIDE DECISION

One Hundred Black Men (OHBM), Asian American Business Development Center (AABDC), and Hispanic Federation (HF) will make all determination of applicant need and appropriate remittance. Hennessy is not involved in deciding any aspect of acceptance or financial disbursement.

FOR ELIGIBLE APPLICANTS, A COMMUNITY PARTNER WILL FOLLOW UP

If a submission is chosen by the appropriate partner, that partner will reach out to the applicant to continue the process and request documentation of business ownership, ethnicity status, and any additional information they deem necessary to make a final determination.

FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED

Completed forms will be processed in the order they are received, and reserves will be used as deemed appropriate by the community partner.
USE OF NAME AND LIKENESS

Owners who receive a grant will agree to allow Hennessy, OHBM, AABDC, and HF use of their name and likeness, as well as the name and likeness of the business named in the application.
APPLICATION OPEN DATES

Only completed applications received during the application open dates will be considered. Application open dates are from 9:00am EST on June 22, 2020, to 11:59pm EST on July 1, 2020.
ONE FORM ENTRY PER BUSINESS, ONE BUSINESS PER OWNER

One form entry allowed per business, as defined by the EIN. Owners with multiple businesses may only enter one of their businesses. In the case an owner with multiple businesses receives multiple grant offers, only one may be accepted.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants must meet all of these requirements to be considered for financial compensation.

  • Black, Asian, and/or Latinx small-business owner
    Business is registered in the U.S. and its territories as a legal entity, with a valid EIN number
    Applicants must have a physical U.S. address (No P.O.Box)
    Annual sales not to exceed $3 million
    Total employees not to exceed 50
    Owner at least 21 years of age
    Have been in business for at least two years as of March 2020
    Does not have a alcohol beverage license
    To receive this funding, must have a bank account that accepts electronic transfers
    In the spirit of Hennessy’s ethos ‘Never Stop, Never Settle’, your business intends to support the community in the future

Accepted business expenses

Financial compensation can only be used towards one of these accepted business expenses.

  • Payroll Expenses
    Operating Expenses (Insurance, etc.)
    Rent
    Mortgage Payments
    Utilities
