Chelsea Medical Center

Chelsea Edwards is the Owner and President and Chief Nurse Practitioner, she is family medicine board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She received her advanced studies degree from Texas Woman's University in Dallas, Texas in 2012. She has a collective 24-year healthcare related experience as a hospitalist, emergency medicine practitioner, and pediatrics. She is licensed as an advanced practice registered nurse in Texas to provide family-centered healthcare to patients of all ages.

Her scope of practice encompasses advanced disease process management, diagnosis, and complex health care problem-solving. Chelsea has a unique combination of strong medical management skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. She believes in building a long-lasting and trusting relationship with patients and customers. She seeks to acquire a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs. 

On a personal note, she has three adult daughters with one granddaughter. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP).
