Lady Ray Computer Services, LLC is a dynamic technology corporation that is poised to capture substantial market share in one of the fastest growing service industries in the country, computer training and certification.  LRCS is a Houston corporation incorporated in 2008 and wholly owned by Carol Ray Holmes.  LRCS has established its base of operations in Houston.  LRCS offers computer training courses in several software packages that have been almost universally accepted by small- to large corporate businesses and by many individuals.  These include Microsoft Windows and Vista, Microsoft Office 2007 and 2010, Adobe, Cisco, Quickbooks and AutoDesk.  LRCS provides customized training and test preparation materials. Other services provided by LRCS is web page design, application development and database development.  LRCS clients include, Oxy Petrochemicals, Chevron, Exxon Mobil, and other local and national companies.  LRCS is 100% woman and minority business.

Carol Ray-Holmes is the owner and manager of LRCS.  She has significant computer software experience and management skills developed as the Computer Training Consultant of the Compu-Train for 15 years.  She plans to utilize this experience in preparing and presenting computer training programs. 

Ms. Ray-Holmes was a technical support technician and in-house training instructor for several years before becoming a consultant three years ago.  She holds Microsoft Certified Trainer/Learning Consultant, Microsoft Office Master Certification and Microsoft Office Master Instructor certification.  She a Microsoft Testing Proctor and just received authorization as a Microsoft Official Testing Site and distributor of Microsoft exams.  In addition to installing software and administer of Microsoft exams, Ms. Ray-Holmes became a Microsoft Registered Partner to sell Microsoft Software Licenses.  Ms. Ray-Holmes has developed  a series of comprehensive computer training programs for beginning, intermediate, and advanced and expert computer software users.  The innovative process of combining personal instruction and hands-on training will be adopted in LRCS’s computer training programs.

As a consultant for Compu-Train, Ms. Ray-Holmes coordinated a staff of five instructors who trained company employees in various Microsoft software packages such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Windows.  Ms. Ray-Holmes also taught a number of these courses.  Utilizing this experience, Ms. Ray-Holmes will coordinate the training efforts of a part-time instructor and a training assistant in order to provide LRCS’s students with the greatest amount of access to the training personnel.

Ms. Ray-Holmes has numerous awards for her community work in Oakland, California, including Congressional Recognition for her community work with at risk youth, teaching them computer skills.

Ms. Ray-Holmes also taught Computer Applications for Paralegals at California State University for six years.    She also taught Microsoft Skills as the Lead Instructor at MTI College of Business and Technology, in Houston, Texas.  She is currently an adjunct Corporate Trainer at Houston Community College.
